Partridge Silkies

These are some of my Partridge Silkies. Some of them have Ginger red/ Buff type coloring but have so much black that I chose not to use them in my buff breeding program. Instread, I am crossing the red/buff colored ones to the very dark true partridge to hopefully produce a brighter colored partridge. 10 of the birds in this pen came from Nikki of HatTrick Silkies. They are a cross of a Partridge pullet to a buff rooster. They should cross nicely with my darker partridge Silkies. I will soon be adding more photos of the darker Partridge birds. We are also very thrilled to be getting a new Partridge pullet from Nikki Stetson or HatTrick Silkies to add to this pen.
